Le Chat Beau means "The Pretty Cat" in French... It is pronounced
"le-cha-bow" and the inspiration for the name came while I was learning French for an eagerly anticipated tour of France. I have always loved the way the French language sounds so beautiful... almost as beautiful as a Persian cat!
My goal is to breed Himmies with large eyes of intense color, round top-heads with small ears, deep nose breaks, short cobby bodies, wonderful expressions and sweet, loving temperaments. I am a huge figure skating fan and have been following the sport for 34 years so my homebred cats will all be named after famous skaters. The lines I am working with presently are Prancenpaws, Sunval, Alina, and Strelets.
