| First European Burmese Breed Winner , GC, BW, RW Charm's Ace High of Penobscot |
Although the award began in that season, CFA is retroactively adding the title to Breed Winners of previous years. In this article, Best of Breed was researched back to the 1966-67 show season where the best of breed cats were first listed in the CFA yearbooks.
The European Burmese was first accepted for competition with CFA in 2002, and the breed winners from that point forward are listed below. Although CFA may not have yet updated their records to add the BW title to the cats listed below, the cats have earned the right to use the BW title.
The first Breed Winner for the European Burmese was GC, BW, RW Charm's Ace High of Penobscot, a Cream male, who earned the award in 2002-03. The first female Breed Winner occured the following year, earned by a Lilac named GC, BW, RW Penobscot's Double Down of Jomarkat .
