In the 2001-2002 show season, CFA began giving out a new title – Breed Winner, which is abbreviated as BW. This title is quite exclusive, being given to ONLY ONE cat in each breed or division in a given year – the highest scoring cat for that breed or division in the Championship class.
Although the award began in that season, CFA is retroactively adding the title to Breed Winners of previous years.
Although CFA may not have yet updated their records to add the BW title to the cats listed below, these cats have all earned the right to use the BW title.
The Ragdoll was first accepted in CFA in 2000, and their first Breed Winner was GC, GP, BW, RW Dollhowse Denver Blues of Kebekat, DM , a blue point and white male. The first female Breed Winner was 3 years later, a seal point and white named GC, BW RW Raggledazzle's Roxie .
