First Male Siberian Breed Winner,
GC, BW, RW Siberkot Rocky Mountain
In the 2001-2002 show season, CFA began awarding a new title – Breed Winner, which is abbreviated as BW. This title is quite exclusive, being given to ONLY ONE cat in each breed or division in a given year – the highest scoring cat for that breed or division in the Championship class.

Although the award began in that season, CFA is retroactively adding the title to Breed Winners of previous years. In this article, Best of Breed was researched back to the 1966-67 show season where the best of breed cats were first listed in the CFA yearbooks.

The Siberian was first accepted for competition with CFA in 2006, and the breed winners from that point forward are listed below. Although CFA may not have yet updated their records to add the BW title to the cats listed below, these cats have earned the right to use the BW title.

The first Breed Winner for the Siberian was GC, BW, RW Siberkot Rocky Mountain, a brown tabby & white male, who earned the award in 2006-07.

To date, there has not been a female Siberian breed winner.
