Every cat owner knows that their favorite feline looks at life very independently. Cats seem to think of themselves as something very special indeed.

Have you ever wondered what your cat is thinking? Would your kitty use words differently than its human?

The answer may be yes . . .

For example, below are words as they might appear in your cat's dictionary . . .

  1. Cataclysm: any great upheaval in a cat's life.
  2. Catatonic: a feline medicinal drink.
  3. Caterpillar: a soft scratching post for a cat.
  4. Cat Scan: to look for a new cat.
  5. Dog: a cat's device for running practice.
  6. Door: something a cat always wants to be on the other side of.
  7. Energy: the element of vitality cats always have an oversupply of until you try to play with them.
  8. Human: an automatic door opener for cats.
  9. Impurrsonate: to act like the cat.
  10. Kitten: a small homicidal muffin on legs; affects human sensibilities to the point of endowing the most wanton and ruthless acts of destruction with near-mythical overtones of cuteness. Not recommended for beginners. Get at least two.
  11. Purrade: an organized march of cats.
  12. Purradise: the garden of Cats.
  13. Purramour: a cat lover.
  14. Purranoia: the fear that your cat is up to something.
  15. Purraphernalia: a cat's personal belongings.
  16. Purrch: any favored feline napping spot.
  17. Purrchase: anything bought for a cat.
  18. Purrfume: the scent of an open can of tuna.
  19. Purrgatory: a houseful of kittens.
  20. Purrmission: a feline hunting expedition.
  21. Purrpetual: everlasting feline love.
  22. Purrplex: a house with two or more cats.
  23. Purrson: a male kitten.
  24. Purrsuit: the garment your shedding cat rubs against just as you are leaving home to go to an important meeting.
  25. Purrverse: a poem about a wicked kitty.
  26. Tooraloorailurophobia: an irrational fear of Irish cats.
  27. Tuner: sonar-like device in cat food that causes cats to appear.
  28. Yawn: a cat's honest opinion openly expressed.
