CFA judge and breeder of Wil-o-glen Abyssinians, Carolyn Osier, returned home from a weekend judging assignment to discover that almost all her cats had been stolen from her home in Laguna Niguel, California while she was away.

The cats stolen are all ruddy Abyssinians. They include:

  1. Karnak is a 1 1/2 year old male
  2. a pregnant female about 5 weeks along
  3. a nursing mother with a 4 week old kitten who has a gash on her chest from having mother carry her around
  4. a nursing mother with three kittens who will be a week old on January 22. 2003
  5. 2 male kittens three months old. One has a cough that may need veterinary attention.
  6. a female kitten who is 4 months old
  7. a male kitten almost 7 months old.

The thieves brought their own carriers. There was no forcible entry so the criminals either picked the lock or had a copy of the key to her home.

A reward has been offered for any information leading to the arrest of the thieves and/or the recovery of the cats.

Carolyn is asking that if anyone hears of any suspicious sounding offers of Abyssinians for sale would they please contact her immediately.

She can be reached at wiloglen@msn.com or her phone number is 949-363-8703.
