Hartz Advanced Care Flea & Tick Drops

A news report by WBTV in the first week of November 2001 indicated that cats have died or had extreme nerve damage from a Hartz product called "Hartz Advanced Flea & Tick drops".

This medication became available in February 2001 and is the first over the counter topical formula for use on both cats and dogs over 12 weeks of age. The liquid is applied the length of the cat's back.

There are over 960 reported cases of fatal or extreme nerve affected cats from using this product.

The product is available at chain drug stores, specialty stores, supermarkets, and mass merchandisers nationally.
