Joey, the News-Cat-Ster

Published August 2011

Three years ago, in 2008, a silver tabby and white short-haired feral kitten wandered in to a news station in Little Rock, Arkansas.

Adopted by the staff, dubbed Joey, the little wanderer settled in to his unusual home and now enjoys being a part of the morning news crew.

In fact, Joey has become a bit of a ham in front of the camera - and he has developed quite a following in the eyes and hearts of viewers.

When the camera rolls, Joey goes into diva-mode. He will take center-stage if he can.

He loves people, and has become a the stations resident, though informal, "man" to go to when you need a friend to talk to. He is always up for a head-butt or a chin-rub. Joey is definitely a people-person.

Joey has even been featured on a segment of Animal Planet Videos titled Must Love Cats.
