First Longhair Scottish Fold Breed Winner GG, BW, NW B4 Snow B-Ear-Y of Sweetums

In the 2001-2002 show season, CFA began giving out a new title – Breed Winner, which is abbreviated as BW. This title is quite exclusive, being given to ONLY ONE cat in each breed or division in a given year – the highest scoring cat for that breed or division in the Championship class.

Although the award began in that season, CFA is retroactively adding the title to Breed Winners of previous years.

The Longhair Scottish was first accepted for competition with CFA in 1993, and the breed winners from that point forward are listed below. Although CFA may not have yet updated their records to add the BW title to the cats listed below, the cats have earned the right to use the BW title.

The first Breed Winner for the Longhair Scottish Fold was a Copper-Eyed White female in 1993-94, GC, BW, NW B4 Snow B-Ear-Y of Sweetums. The first male Breed Winner followed 2 years later, a Blue McTabby named GC, BW, RW Folderol Pendragon of Sunnypotion.
