Repeating last year's format, there were actually two separate shows running concurrently on the weekend. A cat could only compete in one of the shows.
A total of 703 cats competed over the weekend representing 40 pedigreed breeds, as well as Household Pets.
Once the judging for each separate show was completed, the top eight cats from both shows met to compete for Best of the Best. When the smoke cleared, it was a 1-year, 1-month-old red tabby and white Shorthair Manx male who was awarded Best In Show. Congratulations to GC, RW Briar-Mar's Good To Be Me!!
Hot on the fiery Manx's heels were a pair of kittens! First runner-up was a chocolate spotted male Ocicat kitten, DotDotDot's Sam I Am, and second runner-up was a calico Persian female kitten, Astral Charm 5th Element. Kittens were enjoying much success at the show including in the Agility ring where the fastest time was clocked by a black and white female Maine Coon kitten named AC Nascat Checkers.
