The 2012 Cat Fanciers' Association / Royal Canin World Cat Show was held at the Greater Columbus Convention Center in Columbus, Ohio.
This World Show had an unusual format. There were actually two separate shows running concurrently on the weekend. A cat could only compete in one of the shows.
A total of 787 cats competed over the weekend representing 41 breeds.
Once the judging for each separate show was completed, the top four cats from each show met to compete for Best of the Best.
When the smoke cleared, it was a 7-month-old chocolate-spotted male Ocicat kitten that was awarded Best In Show. Congratulations to Wild Rain Let's Dance of Dotdotdot.
First and second runner-up were both bicolor Persians. Kudos to GC Ghattas Black Jack and Seder Rennes Estee Lauder (another kitten).
Third runner-up was an Exotic male, GC Parti Wai EX Jackpot.
